Pergolas<\/h1><\/div><\/div><\/div>

A pergola is an outdoor garden feature forming a shaded walkway, passageway, or sitting area of vertical posts or pillars that usually support cross-beams and a sturdy open lattice, often upon which woody vines are trained.<\/p>\n

They are excellent for providing relief from the harsh, direct rays of the sun while allowing sunlight access to fill the space. Although, as a stand-alone structure, pergolas do not provide full shade, their versatile structures allow many shade options.<\/p>\n

The origin of the word is the Latin pergula, referring to a projecting eave.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
